Fisher Wins Main Event!

16 yr old Ryan Fisher of Norco CA won his first ever main event in first division. Fisher came from the 10 yard line to win all three of his races including a wire to wire win in the main.   Fisher, a threee time Jr national champ made quite an impression on the crowd of over 63,000 sreaming fans. OK maybe the crowd was a little smaller.  It seems very apearent that the fans are pulling for Ryan and wanting him to become the next speedeway superstar. This is somting he can and will become.

In the scratch side of the program it was Bobby Schwartz winning over Gary hicks to claim his first win of the 1999 season.

As you probably figuered out I did not post results for last week as I managed to schedule my vacation on opening weekend. Well next weekend I will also be missing because it's almost the end of Glamis season and I need one more trip. I will be gettiong the results E-mailed to me so I will post them Just a little late.
